Judy Kleinberg  - Distinguished Citizen Award
Rotarian Judy Kleinberg has received the 2020 Distinguished Citizen Award from Pacific Skyline Council of Boy Scouts of America, for her leadership and lifetime of service, and support of our Scouting programs on the Peninsula. Honored at a virtual Happy Hour on September 17, 2020. Fellow Rotarians Steve Player, Liz Kniss and Roger Smith were on the event committee.

The Distinguished Citizen Award recognizes noteworthy and extraordinary leadership of citizens in communities across the US. Honoring distinguished citizenship delivers a message to our youth that character counts. The lives of distinguished citizens put into place guideposts that serve to inspire our youth to lead, to accept responsibility, and to care about principles and causes beyond self-interest.

Rotary connects 1.2 million members from more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Their work impacts lives at both the local and international levels.

Where we meet

Our Club meets on Mondays from 12:15-1:30 via zoom since we are unable to meet in person.  (When we are able to meet in person, our meetings take place at the Palo Alto Elks Event Center - 4249 El Camino Real Palo Alto, CA 94306.) Rotarians from around the world and their guests are welcome to attend. In this congenial setting, over lunch, we get to know each other, conduct a little club business, and hear excellent speakers. Our club accepts new members by invitation.
