Youth Services
Palo Alto Rotary is pleased to work with and help local youth in our communities. We proudly support the following organizations through service partnerships, financial donations, and club sponsorship:

Camp RYLA - RYLA stands for "Rotary Youth Leadership Award". Recipients of this award within our Club’s Rotary District 5170 are sponsored to attended a week long summer camp to learn about themselves and their peers to become better leaders for their sports, clubs, schools, and communities.

Girls Scout Troop Service Unit 601 - The Palo Alto Girl Scout Troop provides support and acts in an advisory role for girls and leaders, and it organizes activities throughout the year.

Boys Scout Troop 5 - Palo Alto’s Troop 5 is a friendly, medium-sized troop with a strong outdoor program, active scouts and involved adult leaders. The three aims of Scouting are the development of character citizenship, and fitness.

Cub Scout Pack 6 - Palo Alto’s Cub Scout Pack 6 offers a large variety of fun learning activities and events enabling young adults the opportunity to grow, have fun, and learn to become responsible citizens.

Gunn High School Interact Group - Interact aims to cultivate an environment that inspires high school students to discover their own passion for service through a combination of local and international organizations, community outreach, and social responsibility.

Youth Community Services - Youth Community Service engages young people from diverse mid-peninsula communities in meaningful service-based learning. YCS students build leadership and life skills, empathy for the needs of others, and a sense of connectedness, purpose and efficacy, while making a positive difference in the lives of those around them.
