The Board of Directors meets the fourth Wednesday morning of each month.

Meetings are open to all members.  New members are encouraged to attend at

least one Board Meeting.  Contact the President to confirm the meeting location.

PRESIDENT - Conducts weekly meetings and presides at monthly Board of Directors meetings. In collaboration with the members of the Board, establishes goals for the year and oversees club projects and programs. Makes committee assignments and is responsible for executing decisions of the Board. Serves for one year from 1 July to 30 June.

 


PRESIDENT-ELECT - Serves on the Board of Directors.  Is available to substitute for the President as needed to preside over a club or board meeting or other club or district focused events. Chairs the Nominating Committee in November to choose the President-Elect, for the year following.  Plans and organizes for his/her upcoming year.  Takes on special assignments as needed. 


PAST PRESIDENT - The Past President serves on the Board for one year after their term in office, and traditionally chairs the Rotary Foundation Fund Raising Campaign in October. Serves as Chair of the Greeters at each meeting.  The Past President is in charge of planning the “Debunking Ceremony” at the end of the current President’s term of office.


TREASURER - Helps the President prepare the Club budget. Maintains all financial records and provides regular financial reports and analysis to the Board of Directors. Prepares checks and makes deposits as required. Works with The Rotary Foundation Recorder and with the Endowment Treasurer to prepare comprehensive financial reports at year end.


SECRETARY -  Club Records and Data Management: Club Classifications and Biographies Secretary: maintains member files. Advises Board on resignations, leaves of absence, etc. and handles related correspondence. Receives and distributes Club mail. Is the principal liaison between the Club and the weekly meeting location on such matters as meeting dates, meals, meal charges, etc. Maintains a store of necessary club supplies. Handles correspondence with and reporting to Rotary International. Maintains the Club calendar and reminds the President of important dates and deadlines.


Staff Records Manager - Maintains membership records. Regularly publishes the PAR Telecommunications List. Assists the President and Committee Chairs in communicating the Pinion and various Club announcements to the members by email.
