Palo Alto Rotary sponsored the Stanford Rotaract Club in October 2004, and maintains a liaison with the Club.

Youth Community Service:  

Supports community activities of YCS clubs in local middle and high schools.  Click here more information:  http://youthcommunityservice.org/

Vocational Services:

Arranges various vocational activities with the students at Cesar Chavez School, including vocational shadowing, Rotarian talks, and coordination with Junior Achievement (when available).

Vocational Visits:

Arranges membership visits to Rotarian businesses or other community areas of interest.

Youth Community Service Event
March 8, 2007

Palo Alto Rotary participated in the YCS activity on March 8th.

Gunn High School teams went to the Rebuilding Together warehouse in Redwood City.

The teams worked hard to transport and organize materials in preparation for the Main Event on April 28th.

Fifty to sixty homes and other facilities will be refurbished and rebuilt.
