The Board of Directors meets every second Wesnesday of each month. Meetings are open to all members.  New members are encouraged to attend at least one Board Meeting.

PRESIDENT - Conducts weekly meetings and presides at monthly Board of Directors meetings. In collaboration with the members of the Board, establishes goals for the year and oversees club projects and programs. Makes committee assignments and is responsible for executing decisions of the Board. Serves for one year from 1 July to 30 June.

 


PRESIDENT-ELECT - Does not have any specific duties other than planning and organizing for the following year. As part of this duty, the President Elect is responsible for chairing the Nominating Committee in November for choosing the President Elect for the following year. He/she should also be available to substitute for the President whenever the latter is unavailable to preside over a regular meeting, a board meeting, or other club or district events. The President-Elect may also take on special assignments as needed.


PAST PRESIDENT - The Past President continues on the Board for one year after their term expires and traditionally chairs the Rotary Foundation Fund Raising Campaign in October and acts as the chief greeter at the meetings. In addition, the Past President is in charge of planning the “Debunking Ceremony” at the end of the current President’s term of office..


TREASURER - Helps the President prepare the Club budget. Maintains all financial records and provides regular financial reports and analysis to the Board of Directors. Prepares checks and makes deposits as required. Works with Paul Harris Recorder and with the Endowment Treasurer to prepare comprehensive financial reports at year end.


SECRETARY - Club Secretary: Along with associate secretaries (Recording Secretary, Club Bios Secretary and Club Records Secretary), maintains member files and takes minutes of Board of Directors meetings. Advises Board on resignations, leaves of absence, etc. and handles related correspondence. Receives and distributes Club mail. Is the principal liaison between the Club and the weekly meeting location on such matters as meeting dates, meals, meal charges, etc. Maintains a store of necessary club supplies. Handles correspondence with and reporting to Rotary International. Maintains the Club calendar and reminds the President of important dates and deadlines.


Rotary Records Manager: Maintains membership records. Regularly publishes the PAR Telecommunications List. Assists the President and Committee Chairs in communicating the Pinion and various Club announcements to the members by email.
